History

Ecoderm, inc. was established in 2009 under spin-off biomedicine business program by government R&D funding.

Professor Seong J. Kim, Department of Dermatology, Chonnam National University Medical School, is founder and CEO who has diverse experiences in nationwide and oversea research of academic and industrial networks.

Drug and cosmetic R&D from transitional research projects and clinical skin test are main business fields. We have developed new drug compounds for sensory perception and control (itch nociception), IBS (irritable bowel syndrome, constipation type), dry eye syndrome. Wet and brighten eye cosmetic is now under development with cosmetic company.
